East Ayton Wall Ties

Forged and machined stainless steel wall ties for an old barn situated in East Ayton Yorkshire.

The rings on the wall ties were made by forging on our coke forges and pulling round a cone mandrel.

The threads were formed on our Harrison Lathe using m20 imperial conversion and then pickled in hydrochloric acid to bring the stainless to a bright shine after the forging and machining process.
