Burton Agnes hall Lantern

A classical wrought iron lantern with some very beautiful but badly corroded elements and leaf-work. The lantern restoration was undertaken by Jake who carefully removed the rust from the lantern and then applied new elements which he forged from either a pure iron sheet or a wrought iron bar. The lantern was then paint finished with epoxy primer and given a top gloss finish restoring it to its former glory.

The restoration was undertaken for Burton Agnes Hall and Gardens.
