Chatsworth House golden gates

 Acting as sub-contractors we were very honoured to be asked to help with this huge restoration project. Designed by the legendary blacksmith and designer Jean Tijou these are some of the world’s most prestigious examples of ironwork.

Our part of the restoration was to forge a replacement cresting, the one in place was a previously made poor example. Major restoration and leaf-work was undertaken on the second cresting. The lodge gates were also part of our work as well as many other parts of the restoration.
